I thought summer months were supposed to be lazy but I’m thankful that we’ve had opportunities to minister in July. We led worship and shared testimony about our ministry at Chinese Bible Church of San Diego. Only Won was able to open their minds to how hip-hop is used to relate to the younger generation and glorify God. This past weekend I was the guest speaker for a women’s summer tea at Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church in Monterey Park. I spoke about our call to shine the light of the Lord to others. Several women made public commitments to have a closer relationship with God and with others. I also just finished taping several new episodes of my talk show I host for JCTV. A couple of the shows dealt with the issue of suicide and depression. I hope those shows may save someone’s life.

We took our ministry down south to Atlanta for the first time. It was great to see a growing Asian Am church like Bethany Presbyterian Church. We led worship for 2 services and shared our ministry journeys. We also had some time with their worship team to do a training workshop. The main event in Atlanta was a Holy Hip Hop showcase that brought out some of the best MCs around the country including our friends, the Gospel Gangstaz. Only Won represented the Asians and it was a

great time of ministry to youth and young adults and giving them a positive alternative to hip hop.
